This take on teenage suburbia in the age of the cell phone and the belly ring revels in the bright, gleaming surfaces of its middle-class milieu, all the better to draw out the shadows of its tree-lined streets. Critics Quotes

It’s no easy task to wrangle an ensemble of this size, and even though numerous characters seem interchangeable at first, Manafort somehow manages to elicit distinctive personalities and performances from her entire cast. They may be shallow and superficial personalities, but it’s still refreshing to spend this much time with a bunch of attractive teens and not have to worry about a serial killer picking them off one by one. - Variety

It's a terrific depiction of 1999's American teenagers ... (read all) - Mycah
