Frank Muzzy and his sidekick Eddie need a lucky break to get out of this small Texas town. Local crime boss Spider offers them a job. It goes terribly bad, and now the bungling dou is in debt to the tune of a quarter million dollars. To pay back Spider, they hatch the brilliant plan to dig up the recently deceased Crystal Harkness, the wife of the richest guy in town, for her diamond necklace they assume she was buried with. Sexy lady, but no necklace. Almost caught in the act, the nim-wits take the corpse with them. Frank decides to ransom Crystal's body to her wealthy husband Thomas Harkness.
