Amber went to the Los Angeles premiere of Beowulf earlier this week. She was accompanied by Drop Dead Sexy co-star Crispin Glover, who stars also in Beowulf. Yes, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane finally has a release date - March 2008! I am so ready to see this film! March really cannot come soon enough. ;)

Imagine our dismay when we learned earlier this year that Jonathan Levine’s All the Boys Love Mandy Lane was bumped until next year. We felt like we got dumped. Shot down. Slapped with a, “I love you, but let’s just be friends.” All the while knowing that she’d come around again, it was just a matter of when.

Mark your calendar. We don’t have a specific date, but ShockTillYouDrop.com has learned that Senator Distribution will release the film in March of ‘08, perhaps to acquaint audiences with leading lady Amber Heard who will be seen next summer in Pineapple Express with Seth Rogan.

Right now the month is a dry one for horror leaving Mandy Lane to stretch her legs a bit and garner some deserved recognition. When more specifics arrive, we’ll keep you in the loop.

I came across a great surprise today - Amber actually appeared in an episode of Showtime’s Californication that aired October 15th! It is episode 1.08, titled “California Son”. She portrays Amber, an actress and a friend of Hank’s (David Duchovny). Sounds familiar? ;) Her appearance is only a few seconds long but she looks amazing! I’ve added screencaptures and made a little clip. Enjoy!

I have amazing news to bring! Miss Heard has scored a role in The Informers, which is an adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel being directed by Gregor Jordan. Read on for further details … Very exciting!

Amber Heard and Chris Isaak have joined the ensemble cast of The Informers, an adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel being directed by Gregor Jordan.

Set in 1980s Los Angeles, the script follows seven stories taking course during a week in the life of movie executives, rock stars, a vampire and other morally challenged characters.

Heard plays a sexually promiscuous woman caught up in the decadence of 1980s L.A., while Isaak will play a sex- and alcohol-obsessed father who takes his young son to Hawaii.

Heard and Isaak join a cast that includes Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Brandon Routh, Winona Ryder and Mickey Rourke.
