Tasya van Ree has directed a beautiful black and white short film titled starring her girlfriend, Amber Heard. Titled Amber Heard – Death of Me, it is gorgeously filmed with stunning, intimate shots featuring an enigmatic and seductive, yet tender and loving, femme fatale, personified by Amber. The camera just loves her – and it has been a while, I feel, that we’ve seen Amber appear this open, relaxed and natural in film. Here’s to hoping that Tasya and Amber will collaborate on other short films in the future because I simply love this one!

Amber Heard stepped out for the First Annual Reality Cares Achievement Awards and Giving Lounge In Honor Of The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards on Friday. She looked chic and pretty as per usual!

What a lovely surprise! Amber Heard is on the cover of Ocean Drive magazine’s September 2010 issue. Amber is continuing help with her support for marriage equality as the other day she attended a Prop. 8 Rally at the Corner of Santa Monica Blvd and San Vicente Blvd in West California. Amber Heard and Tasya van Ree join other human-rights activists to protest the stay on gay marriages in the state of California. “Justice Delayed is Justice Denied”

I got my copy of The Joneses yesterday and immediately made screencaps of Amber Heard’s role as Jenn Jones.

I was quite disappointed that Amber’s role was not as prominent in the movie as I assumed for it to be. Yes, she does appear in a handful of scenes but in the end, she doesn’t have very much to do, does she? It is a pity because Jenn is a really interesting character and I would have loved for the movie to explore her more – same goes for the character of Mick. I found the two ‘children’ to be the most intriguing characters in The Joneses. Regardless, Amber does a great job and looks incredibly gorgeous in the movie.

Unfortunately the UK R2 DVD includes no special features whatsoever. Can anyone within the US confirm whether or not the R1 DVD has special features that include Amber?

The trailer for The River Why has made it’s premiere online finally. I was really eager to see Amber in this ‘de-glamorized’ role and she still looks absolutely gorgeous! I am really excited to see her on screen with Zach Gilford who I think is also very talented. Check it out for yourself below the page break. The River Why is an adaptation of the 1983 Sierra Club novel by David James Duncan. The coming-of-age tale centers on a young man named Gus Orviston (Zach Gilford) and his quest for an elusive rainbow trout, which is a metaphor for the man’s internal search for self-knowledge. Heard plays his love interest, a tomboy fly-fisher named Eddy.

Yesterday Amber Heard stepped out in a peplum-waist colorblock dress by Dolce & Gabanna with black peep-toes and Miriam Haskell jewels for the 9th Annueal InStyle Summer Soiree.
