Here’s a little catch up on Amber Heard’s upcoming projects: • According to Fangoria, And Soon the Darkness will see a theatrical release in February 2011, with a DVD to follow; Studio Canal, which co-produced and co-financed the film, is handling foreign distribution. • Film School Rejects is reporting that, according to Aaron Eckhart, The Rum Diary has also been pushed back to 2011. Eckhart sounded pretty unsure about the release date, and he had this to say:
• Check out the official Ward website at TheWardMovie.com – but you might want to stay away from the synopsis, which is pretty spoilery. • Lastly, The Joneses will be released on DVD in the UK on August 16. I have pre-ordered my copy and will be making DVD screencaps of Amber’s role as soon as I receive it. |

Unfortunately, and to my surprise, it seems Amber didn’t attend the Los Angeles premiere of The Joneses. You can view pictures of the other film’s major stars like Demi Moore, David Duchovny and Ben Hollingsworth here if you wish. |

ABC is bringing you to the red carpet with a live web stream of the Hollywood premiere of the film The Joneses, which stars Demi Moore and David Duchovny at 9:30 p.m. ET / 6:30 p.m. PT. The premiere is taking place at the ArcLight Cinemas 6360 Sunset Blvd, in Hollywood. We’re betting on Amber being in attendance although there wasn’t any press release confirming it! Check back for coverage if so! Thanks to Max for the heads up! |

DALLAS International Film Festival has announced today that Amber Heard will be receiving their first ever Shining Star Award, created “with an eye toward celebrating actors, filmmakers and film artists who have delivered exceptional performances or works on film in their brief careers as well as exhibiting the potential for greater achievements to come.” The River Why will see its world premiere at the festival while The Joneses will also be screened. Congratulations to Amber for the great honor! Here’s what they had to say about Amber:

The Joneses is currently circling film festivals around the world and is seen at the Phila Film Festival, the Sonoma International Film Festival and at the Omaha Film Festival, among others. The film will open in North American cinemas on April 16 and in the UK a week later on April 23. Be sure to check out the UK trailer for the film here as it features a little more of Amber than the US one. I’ve updated the gallery with screencaps from The Joneses UK trailer, the UK poster and one additional still of Amber Heard as Jenn. It looks to be a great role for her and I, for one, can’t wait to see the film! |

No, we haven’t forgotten about the site. It’s just that we’ve both got a lot going on in our personal lives so we haven’t had a moment to update as of recent – although there hasn’t been anything new per-say. As always we strive to have it up the instant it happens but we’ll get around to some general updates soon. We’re still accepting questions for our exclusive Amber Q&A so be sure to submit your question if you haven’t done so already! A few weeks ago, the official trailer for The Joneses was released and I’ve now got around to adding HD captures of Amber Heard to the gallery. She looks fabulous with the old dark hair and I’m always partial to it myself! The movie will find it’s way into theatres on April 16, 2010. |
