I came across the new Never Back Down poster and some beautiful stills of Amber Heard as Baja Miller. I really like her look in the film. I have a feeling March 2008 will be a good one for Miss Heard. ;)     |

Bloody-Disgusting.com has published it’s annual “Best and Worst” list for 2007, and sitting pretty at number 4 is All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. Here is what Mr. Disgusting had to say:
And we still don’t know what is happening on the official release date for Mandy Lane. Some sites state a February 15th release for the UK, IMDb.com reports a March 2008 US limited release and the last ‘official’ word we heard was the movie was bought buy a new distributor which eyed a May 2008 release. We will keep you posted on any more changes. |

As promised, I’ve made screencaptures of the Never Back Down trailer and added the first official production still. The film itself does not terribly interest me but it is good to see something new from Amber. She looks absolutely gorgeous and I hope her role will be more than just a “love interest”.     |

Get Some, which now goes by the name of Never Back Down, has release dates for set for 2008: March 14 (US) and April 25 (UK). A trailer has also been released. Be sure to check it out at IGN! I will be added pics and trailer captures of Amber’s role tomorrow. We now know that Amber will play Christie in The Informers. The movie is still being filmed as we speak. Below the cut you can find some information regarding her character in the book, courtesy of Wikipedia. Please just keep in mind that it may contain some spoilers regarding the film.

We’re still not getting to much action these days in Amber land, but I have updated the gallery with a very small handful of newish (rare?) images from Amber’s movie and tv roles. What a tease. Just when we thought we were going to get her in March, Shock has learned Jonathan Levine’s All the Boys Love Mandy Lane is moving to a May release date (specifics are unknown). Tonally speaking, the film has a breezy summertime vibe before it descends into bloody hell, so opening on the cusp of the summer season feels right. I came across a great surprise today - Amber actually appeared in an episode of Showtime’s Californication that aired October 15th! It is episode 1.08, titled “California Son”. She portrays Amber, an actress and a friend of Hank’s (David Duchovny). Sounds familiar? ;) Her appearance is only a few seconds long but she looks amazing! I’ve added screencaptures and made a little clip. Enjoy!     |
