I have now added screencaptures of Amber in Never Back Down. Let’s face it, the movie is no masterpiece IMHO, however I absolutely adore beautiful “beach babe” Baja Miller. Also Amber’s character’s wardrobe is also among one of my very favorites. This update includes the film, deleted scenes and menus. Enjoy the prettyness!

Today I’ve added video clips of Amber’s performances in Mandy Lane and Never Back Down as well as some previews of the special features. Please note that all but the first two clips of Mandy Lane contain spoilers of the movie. Please do not watch them if you have not seen the film yet.

I have some awesome updates to bring of our Goddess today… I’ve added some outtakes from Amber’s super sexy Maxim (2008) and Interview (2007) photoshoots as well as uploaded more of her Never Back Down promo photoshoot shots. *thud* Thanks so much to Janine and Mariana for making this update possible!

The other day we added some new images to the gallery related to Pineapple Express. Including the first movie stills found, caps of an interview Amber gave to MovieWeb from Comic-Con (You can download the video here) and a shot of Miss Heard and her Pineapple family for the new issue of Entertainment Weekly. I only grow more and more excited for this film!

Also today marks the DVD release for Never Back Down. There are two editions available (read more). I should be getting my copy very soon and will make captures for the site. We’d like to know if anyone plans to pick up the two-disc extended version, if so if you could give us a report about the features and extra scenes (if there is more of Amber) before we look into buying it. Or if you can cap those extras that would be highly appreciated!

Never Back Down is coming to Region 1 DVD on July 29, 2008. You can pre-order your copy on Amazon.com. The film will be released on two-disc version as well. One being theatrical version and then the two-disc special “Extended Beat Down”/Unrated edition. Hopefully will see more of Baja Miller in the latter. (With lots of features!) You can pre-order that one here as well.

Seriously are we being spoiled or what?! Amber is featured inside yet another magazine, and this time our gorgeous gal graces the cover! Amber Heard is featured on the cover of Saturday Night Magazine looking beautiful as ever in a new shoot! We’d like to give a big thanks to Ally for the heads up and for donating three stunning outtakes and a new Never Back Down production still. Scans of this one are coming up shortly!

There is a new (gorgeous!) German poster and trailer for All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. Although it is dubbed you do get to see quite a bit of previously unseen scenes. Obviously these might be a little to spoilery for you liking so I’d advise you skip this update if you do not wish to be spoiled. A bit of an update regarding the ever changing US release: According to trusted Bloody-Disgusting.com, there is still no release date set despite reports. There are rumors of August 2008, but nothing has been confirmed or denied. IMDb does list a few new dates for countries Germany, France and the Netherlands so check those out if you’re in one of those countries.

And furthermore I have added a handful of new posters for Never Back Down as well.

The ComingSoon.net Box Office Report has been updated with studio estimates for the weekend. Be sure to check back on Monday for final figures based on actual box office.

New independent distributor Summit Entertainment had their first significant hit with the mixed martial arts drama Never Back Down, which opened in third place with $8.6 million in 2,729 theaters, an average of $3,166 per theater, which isn’t great but enough to make more money this weekend than the stronger returning movies. The production budget was an estimated $20 million.
