Amber Heard is featured on the cover of the March 2010 issue of Jezebel magazine with the Vanidades photoshoot. We should have scans coming up from the magazine pretty soon so stay tuned for those. Meanwhile, the library has been updated with Amber’s interview from the magazine, which is a really good read and actually answered many of my questions for her.

“I’m not the kind of person to just sit back and lose something I worked hard on, so, naturally, I’ve taken steps to be further involved in a process when most actors aren’t. They go home at the end of the day, and I instead am going over dailies.”

“I’m looking to find good stories, not big commercial pieces of work.”

“I could be pigeonholed so fast–it can happen so quickly, and I’m trying to keep a constant strategy to always be moving and be a little unpredictable in that sense.”

Some of the interview was also released via their official website and in it, Amber discusses filming The Rum Diary, why she loves the horror genre so much and her beloved car.

“I love fast cars, loud guns and classic rock ’n’ roll, but I’d never do any of it in flats. I love me a nice, big uncomfortable pair of heels and some big hair! Maybe it’s a Southern thing, but I love dressing up. It’s everything I can do not to leave the house in a goddamn prom dress every day.”

Holy smokes! It seems that Amber Heard is featured in the new issue of Spanish language magazine Vanidades with a brand new, drop-dead gorgeous photoshoot! I don’t think I have enough adjectives to describe how amazing Amber looks in the photos so you’ll just have to take a look and see for yourself. Personally, I think it is one of her most stunning photoshoots to date. Wow.

Whenever we see the words: Amber Heard and FHM together, we snicker! They really love our Heard don’t they? In addition to the Australian January 2010 cover comes the German editorial for this month as well. It’s still Amber’s previous shoot from last year but this marks the 2nd, 3rd, 4th…. oh heck who’s counting anymore appearance in the magazines. Nothing quite says ‘Happy New Year 2010′ than this special update with a brand new, drop-dead gorgeous shot of Amber Heard featured in the February 2010 issue of Vanity Fair!

Amber is featured in a portfolio showcasing six standout up and coming actresses. The other ladies include Lily Collins, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Isabel Lucas, and Zoë Kravitz.

She played Seth Rogen’s girlfriend in Pineapple Express. Now she moves into the spotlight—first in the thriller And Soon the Darkness, then in The Rum Diary, based on the novel by Hunter S. Thompson, opposite Johnny Depp. She got the latter role by detailing, in a letter to the director and producers, her passion for the material, beating out a number of A-list actresses along the way, including Scarlett Johansson. “The part didn’t call for a famous person,” says Heard. “It called for an actress who was right for the part.” The ballsiness can be traced back to Austin, Texas, where Heard attended Catholic school. There she became enamored with the novels of Ayn Rand. “She wrote about triumph over captivity,” she explains. “I always felt trapped.” She dropped out, went to Hollywood, and landed a small role in the film Friday Night Lights. As she tells it, the rest was history. “Within the first week of shooting I knew I was going to be an actress.”

Lady Heard is featured on the cover of the January 2010 issue of the Australia edition of FHM. She is also featured inside of FHM UK’s “Girls of the Year” special. Both feature photos from Amber’s 2009 FHM shoot. Amber Heard looks absolutely ravishing in this new pictorial, which appears in the December 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar (US edition), in which she embodies George Hamilton’s young trophy wife. The photoshoot has been added in the gallery. I have to say that it is so nice to see Amber featured in a fashion magazine. She looks so gorgeous! We will be adding scans of this as soon as possible.
