Still in New York, Amber attended the Women’s Fall 2010 Calvin Klein Collection After Party yesterday. She looked great in a gray dress which she paired with a black belt and pumps. Her clutch was striped and the real color pop came from bright red lipstick and nails. A gorgeous, understated look!
I’ve only come across two medium sized nine HQ sized images so far. But as always we’re gonna keep hunting more. Hopefully we’ll find some additional shots!

As we previously reported, Amber Heard was in New York City for the Diesel Black Gold front row at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. She attended the fashion show and a cocktail reception in Diesel’s honor. Amber went for head-to-toe black ensemble of skinny jeans, pumps, and a leather jacket and gloves. At the cocktail event she had her hair in a pony tail but was in the same outfit.
Here is a little blurb from Fug Girls:
The bits of Amber’s interviews that we heard were rather quirky. When asked how many hours she slept last night, she bristled, then consented and admitted it was twelve. “That’s a lot,” the reporter said. “Yes,” she answered flatly. Then the guy asked her how many inches her platform pumps were and she replied, as if cultivating an air of mystery, “Too many. And yet not enough.” And she later explained that the shirt she was wearing was actually a dress, the sides of which she’d tucked into her pants. Apparently looking like you were rushed out of the bathroom is super hot for fall. We were about to write Amber off as a bit of an odd duck until the reporter asked what makes her nervous, and Amber’s answer was, “Public speaking.”

Tonight (February 11th), photographer Tasya van Ree will debut a charity photo exhibit at Celebrity Vault in Beverly Hills. Amber Heard is going to be hosting this event taking place from 7-10pm. Proceeds from the event will go to AbolishSlavery.org, which is targeting human trafficking in Haiti. Hopefully we’ll get some photographs from this tomorrow. Great to see Amber taking part in such an important cause!
Tasya’s latest collection of original work,‘The Still Life’, exhibits the inanimate aspect of the motionless lives trafficked children face. Van Ree uses dolls and props to subliminally express the growing severity of the human trafficking issue of the children worldwide. Her photography captures the unmoving, lost, silent and transfixed life in an immobile state of mind, body and soul.
Abolish Slavery is a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating human trafficking and restoring dignity to victims. They organize and coordinate investigations and field operations to find, identify, and retrieve people from slavery, providing for their safe aftercare and rehabilitation. Human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery in which people, mostly women and girls, are abducted, deceived or coerced into situations of forced labor. Human trafficking is one of the fastest growing crimes in the world.

Wonderwall had a chance to talk to Amber at the Art of Elysium Gala. Here’s what she had to say:
With five new projects in the hopper, Amber Heard is grateful that her rising celebrity hasn’t meant every personal detail of her life gets revealed.
“I think it has been relatively easy to keep a private life and keep that life separate from my career,” she said. “I think that some people seek to be celebrities and those people will live the life that everybody reads about and knows about. I myself desire the life of a serious actor and a life like any normal person.”
