Amber Heard stepped out for the First Annual Reality Cares Achievement Awards and Giving Lounge In Honor Of The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards on Friday. She looked chic and pretty as per usual!

Now onto the update – Amber attended the 2010 EQCA Equality Awards a while back and a few pictures of her looking gorgeous have now surfaced. Those pictures, as well as some new candids have been added to our gallery. Enjoy the new additions!

Amber is continuing help with her support for marriage equality as the other day she attended a Prop. 8 Rally at the Corner of Santa Monica Blvd and San Vicente Blvd in West California. Amber Heard and Tasya van Ree join other human-rights activists to protest the stay on gay marriages in the state of California. “Justice Delayed is Justice Denied”

John Carpenter is making a long-awaited return to the big screen with the world premiere of The Ward at the Toronto International Film Festival. The Ward is a thriller about a young woman, played by Amber Heard, in a 1960s mental institution who becomes terrorized by malevolent unseen forces. The movie is part of Toronto’s Midnight Madness sidebar. No word whether or not Amber will attend the premiere but I do think it is safe to say it is likely she will.

The Toronto International Film Festival is set to run from September 9 to 19.

Yesterday Amber Heard stepped out in a peplum-waist colorblock dress by Dolce & Gabanna with black peep-toes and Miriam Haskell jewels for the 9th Annueal InStyle Summer Soiree. Earlier yesterday, Amber Heard helped Yo Gabba Gabba! (children’s program) build a home for Habitat for Humanity on in Lynwood, California. Amber has been busy here lately and it’s wonderful seeing her be active in various organizations so much. Check out a handful of images in the gallery!

Nearly 2 billion people around the world live in slum housing and over 100 million are homeless. Habitat for Humanity is needed to help eliminate poverty by providing simple, decent shelter to those in need. Homeowners and volunteers build under trained supervision.

As we’ve earlier reported, Tasya Van Ree’s new exhibit, “Untitled Project,” debuted yesterday in Beverly Hills and Amber Heard was, of course, in attendance to show her support. She looked stunning in a nude top, black leather pants and red lipstick. Amber was photographed alongside fellow actress Isabel Lucas and Tasya herself.
