Tasya van Ree has directed a beautiful black and white short film titled starring her girlfriend, Amber Heard. Titled Amber Heard – Death of Me, it is gorgeously filmed with stunning, intimate shots featuring an enigmatic and seductive, yet tender and loving, femme fatale, personified by Amber. The camera just loves her – and it has been a while, I feel, that we’ve seen Amber appear this open, relaxed and natural in film. Check out the video in glorious high definition on YouTube or under the cut. It is definitely a must see for all of the fans! Here’s to hoping that Tasya and Amber will collaborate on other short films in the future because I simply love this one! |

John Carpenter is making a long-awaited return to the big screen with the world premiere of The Ward at the Toronto International Film Festival. The Ward is a thriller about a young woman, played by Amber Heard, in a 1960s mental institution who becomes terrorized by malevolent unseen forces. The movie is part of Toronto’s Midnight Madness sidebar. No word whether or not Amber will attend the premiere but I do think it is safe to say it is likely she will. The Toronto International Film Festival is set to run from September 9 to 19. Source: Hollywood Reporter |

As we’ve earlier reported, Tasya Van Ree’s new exhibit, “Untitled Project,” debuted yesterday in Beverly Hills and Amber Heard was, of course, in attendance to show her support. She looked stunning in a nude top, black leather pants and red lipstick. Amber was photographed alongside fellow actress Isabel Lucas and Tasya herself. Many thanks again to Roberta for the high quality photos! |

Drive Angry is the latest 3D action-adventure from director Patrick Lussier and starring Nicolas Cage as Milton, a hardened felon who has broken out of hell for one last chance at redemption. Intent on stopping a vicious cult, led by Jonah King (Billy Burke), who murdered his daughter, he has three days to stop them before they sacrifice her baby beneath a full moon. During a press conference held after their Hall H panel at Comic-Con, co-stars Nicolas Cage, Amber Heard (who plays sexy, young waitress Piper) and William Fichtner (who plays an enigmatic killer known only as “The Accountant,” sent by the Devil to retrieve Milton) talked about the appeal of this project and what it was like to adjust their performance to the 3D technology while they were filming. Check out what they had to say after the jump: Question: Nicolas, as an actor, what was the appeal of this project? Nicolas: The first thing I would offer is that this is a movie that hails from ‘70s classic films, like High Plains Drifter, and other movies that were a major factor in my decision to become a film actor. And then, on top of that, it’s in 3D and directed by one of the pioneers in this day and age of 3D, with Patrick Lussier. He’s a purist, so I knew it would be in the camera and that I would have an opportunity to try to work with the 3D camera and see how that would inform my performance, with different body language and different ways I could play with the format. That was a big draw for me. What is the essence of this character for you? Nicolas: I try to keep my characters raising more questions than giving answers. I don’t want to leave too much on the table. I want you to have your connection and your secret understanding of the character, so I hesitate to talk too much about anything specific about him. |

There’s a twist and a half in The Joneses, an edgy new comedy starring Demi Moore and David Duchovny. The Joneses have moved in next door. They are beautiful, rich, and enviably kitted out. The neighbors want to be them, have what they have, and borrow a little of their perfection. However, illicit sex, commercialism, and power struggles crack the carefully groomed Jones façade. Twenty three year old Amber Heard, a rising star in Hollywood’s youth brigade, plays the sex obsessed fashionista daughter who beds men twice her age. Heard told Monsters & Critics that she immediately related to Jenn Jones. “The first act of the film you start to notice that something is really off. My character is desperately seeking affection. She realizes she’s just looking to understand love. She’s a vulnerable character that’s cheeky and tough on the outside. There were some layers there and I thought it was a real character that made sense not just to me but to a lot of girls.” |

Yesterday Amber Heard attended the Nylon and Express August Denim Issue Party in West Hollywood. She looked beautiful in a little black dress and sky high black pumps. 52 photos have been uploaded from the event. Many thanks to Roberta for the high quality photos! |

Amber Heard now has an official Facebook page, which can be found here! Be sure to add her if you’re on Facebook. Also, keep in mind that all of the other Facebook accounts claiming to be Amber are not the real deal. Also, we can now say that Adoring Amber Heard is a website approved by the representatives of Amber Heard. However, it is not run by Amber herself – we’re just fans, like you – so please do not send emails directed to Amber our way. Thanks! |
