We now have a high quality look at Amber Heard’s Fashion Magazine April 2010 cover image and a look at one image from the inside contents, to go along with the behind the scenes teaser we got a couple days ago.

Some of the interview was also released via their official website and in it, Amber discusses filming The Rum Diary, why she loves the horror genre so much and her beloved car.

“I love fast cars, loud guns and classic rock ’n’ roll, but I’d never do any of it in flats. I love me a nice, big uncomfortable pair of heels and some big hair! Maybe it’s a Southern thing, but I love dressing up. It’s everything I can do not to leave the house in a goddamn prom dress every day.”

Zombieland was released on Region 1 DVD recently and I’ve now got around to uploading caps of Amber playing 406 to the gallery. Her role is really small but very memorable and super funny. We tried to air on the side of caution as much as possible for spoiler purposes every past update, but the DVD has been out for a while now and besides I’m pretty sure all of your know that Amber plays a zombie. If you by some chance didn’t, I hope it won’t scare you off, and wish you’d still check out the film because it’s totally awesome and hilarious! Plus the fact that Amber would take on a role like this when she’s being offered so many parts is so cool and makes me adore her even more!

Amber was also in a good bit of the special features, including two documentaries (about the filming and make-up process) and a deleted scene. These are found on the single disc edition. I’m aware there is a two-disc version of the flick, but I haven’t got around to buying it yet. The casting continues to pour in for Nu Image/Millennium Films’ Drive Angry, their 3-D revenge thriller arriving in theaters February 11, 2010. Simona Williams (aka Simone Levin) – who can be seen next in Solitary Man with Michael Douglas – will play one of the ringleaders in a crime syndicate that opposes Nicolas Cage’s character. Reteaming My Bloody Valentine writing and directing duo, Todd Farmer and Patrick Lussier respectively, William Fichtner, Amber Heard, Billy Burke, David Morse, Charlotte Ross and horror legend Tom Atkins all star.

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Amber Heard taking on the role of diner employee who partners with Nicolas Cage to find his granddaughter in the 3D action pic Drive Angry.

Drive Angry, a Nu Image/Millennium project that is eyeing a shoot this month in Shreveport, La., centers on a man (Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta/rescue spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway.
