Amber Heard has been nominated for “Best Scared-As-S**t Performance” for The Stepfather at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. You can cast your vote for Amber on their site. The final nominees come out May 11th, 2010, with the show airing and winner announcement happening live June 6.

Va-va-voom! Amber Heard is featured in the Spring 2010 issue of French Revue de Modes with a stunning new editorial! The sultry photoshoot is definitely one of my recent favorites of her and I find the close-up of Amber especially striking.

I’ve addes some preview scans in the gallery. Hopefully we’ll be able to replace these with high quality scans in the future but I wouldn’t count on it as this seems to be a rare magazine to come by.

The Joneses is currently circling film festivals around the world and is seen at the Phila Film Festival, the Sonoma International Film Festival and at the Omaha Film Festival, among others. The film will open in North American cinemas on April 16 and in the UK a week later on April 23. Be sure to check out the UK trailer for the film here as it features a little more of Amber than the US one.

Amber Heard is featured on the cover of the March 2010 issue of Jezebel magazine with the Vanidades photoshoot. We should have scans coming up from the magazine pretty soon so stay tuned for those. Meanwhile, the library has been updated with Amber’s interview from the magazine, which is a really good read and actually answered many of my questions for her.

“I’m not the kind of person to just sit back and lose something I worked hard on, so, naturally, I’ve taken steps to be further involved in a process when most actors aren’t. They go home at the end of the day, and I instead am going over dailies.”

Bloody-Disgusting.com reports that Katy Mixon (Eastbound and Down) has just been cast in Patrick Lussier’s Drive Angry 3D, Summit’s revenge-thriller that centers on a man (Nicolas Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. She will star alongside the previously announced mega-cast if William Fichtner, Amber Heard, Billy Burke, David Morse, Charlotte Ross, Tom Atkins, Christa Campbell, Bryan Massey, James Hébert, Katy Mixon and Charlotte Ross. Angry speeds into theaters on February 11, 2010.

No, we haven’t forgotten about the site. It’s just that we’ve both got a lot going on in our personal lives so we haven’t had a moment to update as of recent – although there hasn’t been anything new per-say. As always we strive to have it up the instant it happens but we’ll get around to some general updates soon. A few weeks ago, the official trailer for The Joneses was released and I’ve now got around to adding HD captures of Amber Heard to the gallery. She looks fabulous with the old dark hair and I’m always partial to it myself! The movie will find it’s way into theatres on April 16, 2010.
