Thanks to Kyle for informing us that Amber Heard will be on the cover of Fashion Magazine’s April 2010 issue. Here’s a behind the scenes video from the gorgeous shoot. The magazine will be on newsstands on March 8, 2010.

This entire month we’ve been informing you of all the casting announcements surrounding Drive Angry 3D but it was still a bit of a mystery surrounding Amber’s official involvement. Bloody-Disgusting.com first reported the news and they are almost always right on the money. But for those of you still looking for a bit more confirmation, Variety mentioned Amber’s name among a cast break (although it’s an actor we told you about days ago). They’re pretty solid as well.

At this point, we think it’s pretty safe to say Amber’s indeed on the Drive Angry team – even though we’re not sure what role she’ll have. We’ll of course let you know if we hear otherwise. Shooting begins in Shreveport, Louisiana next March. Slated to hit theaters February 11, 2011.

In case you missed it, the story centers on a man (Nicholas Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta/rescue spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway.

The cast of Drive Angry 3D just keeps growing as it’s heading into production next month. Today, Dread Central learned exclusively that Tom Atkins is set to star in Patrick Lussier’s latest carnage fest. Atkins joins the previously announced Nicolas Cage, Charlotte Ross, Billy Burke, Amber Heard, David Morse, and William Fichtner.

Here’s your first look at the movie poster for the dark David Duchovny-Demi Moore comedy The Joneses (releases April 16). They star as the seemingly perfect couple next door that move into a gated community with their equally perfect children (Zombieland’s Amber Heard and The Beautiful Life’s Ben Hollingsworth) and become the envy of all. The twist: They’re not a family, they’re employees of a stealth marketing company with the job of making their neighbors and classmates want what they’ve got.

Joining last week’s cast additions David Morse and Billy Burke, Charlotte Ross will also now appear in Nu Image/Millennium Films’ Drive Angry, with Nicolas Cage toplining and William Fichtner and Amber Heard starring. Ross will play a waitress who is seduced and then protected by Cage’s character.

The 3D pic (which will be directed by Patrick Lussier from a script by Todd Farmer) pits a felon named Milton (Cage) against a group of vicious cult fanatics who not only murdered his daughter, but plan to sacrifice his infant granddaughter beneath a full moon. Armed with his turbo-charged Black ’71 Challenger, there’s going to be some hell to pay.

Drive Angry shoots in Shreveport, Louisiana next month. Summit will release the film on February 11, 2011.

Still in New York, Amber attended the Women’s Fall 2010 Calvin Klein Collection After Party yesterday. She looked great in a gray dress which she paired with a black belt and pumps. Her clutch was striped and the real color pop came from bright red lipstick and nails. A gorgeous, understated look!

I’ve only come across two medium sized nine HQ sized images so far. But as always we’re gonna keep hunting more. Hopefully we’ll find some additional shots!

Arrow In The Head reports that David Morse (Disturbia, The Hurt Locker) is set to also join Drive Angry 3D.

Morse joins Nicholas Cage, Amber Heard, and William Fichtner in the film, though no details of his role have been released just yet. Considering the guy is a master at playing the villain, predictions are he’ll be playing a villain here once again.
