A couple of days back Amber Heard attended the Virgin America Launch Party in Fort Lauderdale. She looked cute in a black mini dress and red lipstick as she posed together with actress Kayla Ewell, actor Gilles Marini and actress Sofia Milos.

THE STORY Amber Heard (Zombieland, The Informers) is fantastic as the object of every adolescent boy’s obsession. As Mandy Lane, she ventures out to a remote farm house for a weekend of partying with pals until a hoodie-cloaked miscreant with a backpack full of killing tools begins to pick the teen pack off one by one.

WHAT HAPPENED? The directorial debut of Jonathan Levine, Mandy Lane hit the film festival circuit, garnering a number of rave reviews (including one here at Shock). Dimension Films swooped in, acquiring the film. After a long spell, Bob and Harvey Weinstein prepped a limited release in July of 2007 with the haste of two kids fumbling took take off their clothes in the back seat of their car on prom night. Poster art and a trailer were created. The press was invited to advance screenings. Then, at the last minute, Mandy Lane was yanked from the schedule. Talk about giving fans a case of blue balls.

I have added new candids of Amber, snapped November 10 and 6, 2009 in Los Angeles. I like the new set of her shopping at the trendy Los Angeles store Intuition. However, it is a bit worrysome that she’s already been snapped by the paparazzi three times this month. I really hope they’re not bugging her too much!

Amber Heard looks absolutely ravishing in this new pictorial, which appears in the December 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar (US edition), in which she embodies George Hamilton’s young trophy wife. The photoshoot has been added in the gallery. I have to say that it is so nice to see Amber featured in a fashion magazine. She looks so gorgeous! We will be adding scans of this as soon as possible.

According to the synopsis, Amber’s character is called Ellie and it is actually her character who disappears, not Odette Yustman’s Stephanie, as earlier speculated.
