“I guess you could say… I mean I wish Republicans didn’t give us such a bad name. I guess I would be a Republican if they weren’t such assholes. But, what do I know?”

“I have to do projects that propel me to the next step so I can work on those projects. So I can do artistic, low budget, independent type films that I find my soul in. So I have to do the studio films. And not that I have any problem with it. I love this movie. I love everybody on the set. The director’s really cool. It’s really neat, and I like the genre. And I’m starting to like it more and more. It’s important to me so that I have to realize that I have to take steps to get to another place.”

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($24.96) and Blu-ray ($34.95) releases of The Informers which stars Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Winona Ryder, and Mickey Rourke. Each will be available to own from the 25th August. Extras will include a director and cast commentary, and a Human Intersections: Making The Informers featurette. Now the thing I like about Amber, and what a few people there didn’t, is her blatant honesty. She speaks her mind and really doesn’t give a shit about whether someone agrees with it or not. Amber Heard attended the Los Angeles Film Festival Public Enemies Premiere yesterday, June 23, in support of her The Rum Diary co-star Johnny Depp. This is Amber’s first red carpet appearance since January and she looked fierce! 60 88 126 first pictures from the event are now available in the gallery for your viewing pleasure.

Danielle Panabaker will star opposite Amber Heard in The Ward, a psychological horror thriller that John Carpenter is directing for Echo Lake Entertainment and A Bigger Boat.

The story follows a girl (Heard) who is admitted to a psychiatric ward, meets other girls there with distinct personalities and discovers a mysterious girl haunting the halls at night.

Panabaker plays a patient in the institution, a snobbish girl who flirts with orderlies and faces electroshock therapy.

Mamie Gummer (Taking Woodstock) also has been cast as a patient.
