 And Soon the Darkness, which is currently in post-production, is being promoted at the Cannes Film Festival. The festival is about to kick off and we’ve just received our first look at the film’s poster. I personally think it looks pretty cool and atmospheric. I think that this will turn out to be a good one. Hopefully we’ll hear something new about the film during Cannes because news have been rather scarce to date.

This poster seems like this remake is bringing a darker atmosphere to the original film.

The poster looks great. Just hope Odette is the one that vanishes so Amber is more the lead character and gets more screentime :)
I agree with you, Martin. Amber is the stronger actress between the two so I hope it is she who carries the film. Looking at the poster, it does appear that she’s the lead since she’s featured more prominently than Odette.
Max: The film doesn’t premiere until 2010. It is just being promoted there and probably shopped around for distributors.
Karl Urban and Amber Heard? I’m totally up for this.
Love And Soon The Darkness, very suspenseful and well directed, hope the remake captures some of that magic.
Also very much hope that Amber plays the lead….given the billing on the poster, that seems likely!
Btw The Stepfather remake trailer will hit in June!
