The pages of Vanity Fair’s Young Hollywood issue sprang to life on Tuesday night when the magazine wrangled its freshly minted NBTs—Next Big Things, of course—for a cocktail party to benefit the Children’s Defense Fund. In a scene reminiscent of a freshman-senior bonding session, teen queens Emma Roberts, Kat Dennings, and Amber Heard mingled on the rooftop of L.A.’s Louis Vuitton boutique with Rashida Jones, Angie Harmon, Paula Patton and party co-host Amy Adams. The registers were open and shopping till you dropped was encouraged (part of the night’s sales went to the charity), but being young and in Hollywood, some opted to lounge on the alfresco couches to soak in the sun’s last rays.
