I have amazing news to bring! Miss Heard has scored a role in The Informers, which is an adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel being directed by Gregor Jordan. Read on for further details … Very exciting!

Amber Heard and Chris Isaak have joined the ensemble cast of The Informers, an adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel being directed by Gregor Jordan.

Set in 1980s Los Angeles, the script follows seven stories taking course during a week in the life of movie executives, rock stars, a vampire and other morally challenged characters.

Heard plays a sexually promiscuous woman caught up in the decadence of 1980s L.A., while Isaak will play a sex- and alcohol-obsessed father who takes his young son to Hawaii.

Heard and Isaak join a cast that includes Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Brandon Routh, Winona Ryder and Mickey Rourke.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Miss Heard on the pages of the November 2007 issue of FHM (UK edition). The article itself seems very much the same as the recent Arena one, only shorter, but the picture is brand new and pretty damn hot! Be sure to check it out!

I hope fellow UK fans watched the first two episodes of Hidden Palms on Sky One yesterday. Maybe if the show will be a surprise hit here in Britain (even though there has been very little promotion), The CW might do another season of it. Wishful thinking, I guess, but I know I’d love to see more of Greta and Amber.

Hidden Palms will begin airing tomorrow in the UK on Sky One at 9pm, while the show has already ended Stateside. Be sure to give the show a chance if you live in the UK. A new promo from the Sky One channel has been added to the video archives.

We dare you to watch the pilot and not fall in love with Amber Heard as Greta Matthews. Her introduction is nothing short of legendary to us Amber fans! From her first appearance to the last, Amber as Greta charms the viewers with her approach to the character.

If you would like to learn more about the show visit our Hidden Palms section.
